I am a contemporary artist with experience on the land and sea, and in aviation. I enjoy abstraction with figurative elements that are usually the centre element of my paintings.

My work has been called surrealistic but I work from my knowledge of the elements and colours are often spontaneous and sometimes impulsive. The perspectives of vision from the sky, land, sea, and below the sea are figurative in the different genres of my art.

I thank my mother Elizabeth Smith and my sister for a large part of my artistic inspiration.
